Youth Leadership Conference (YLC) is an inspiring and challenging week of bible teaching that aims to equip leaders with skills to lead Bible-based groups.
YLC runs between the 7th and 11th of January 2013 in Kaiapoi, just north of Christchurch.
YLC is designed as a three year programme. As a first-time delegate, you will commence the programme in Strand 1. Strand 1 delegates write and present a Bible study from a New Testament passage.
Strands 2 and 3 are completed in the following years. Strand 2 delegates explore an Old Testament passage and God's plans for creation as revealed across the whole Bible. Strand 3 equips leaders with skills to investigate and construct bible studies on keys themes in the Bible.
As well as the strand times, we gather morning and night to hear God's word preached and respond to him in prayer and praise. There are practical workshops on evangelism, leading Bible Studies, personal holiness, and much more. Add to that a great bookshop, superb meals, and the joy of meeting Christians from all over the country—YLC is a week you don't want to miss.
